| HUMAN RIGHTS AND SWINE FLU
By Jon Rappoport Every human being has the right to handle his own health in any way he wants to. The State doesn’t believe this. It believes in “parental care, concern, and control.” It believes in accepted mainstream medical treatments. But it has a tough road to walk, because, although the government can harass some alternative practitioners and stir up trouble, the idea of actually punishing private citizens who want to take herbs instead of arthritis drugs is a stretch. A big stretch. However, if there is a declared threat to overall public health---an epidemic---then the State has an entry point. It can work the “care and concern” angle, and most people will buy it. They will buy it because they don’t see a vaccine as an incursion on their freedom, and because they have no knowledge about how medical research is done---the kind of research that supposedly establishes the legitimacy of the threat, the epidemic, in the first place. I hope you understand this latter point, because your freedom is up for grabs. As a reporter for more than 20 years, I’ve spent a great deal of time examining the ways in which researchers come to their conclusions about “new germs” and “new diseases” and “epidemics.” I’ve seen the fraud. I know how the game is played. I’m not saying every medical researcher is in on a conspiracy. Most of them believe in what they’re doing. But what they’re doing defies, in many case, all common sense and logic and decent science. These people are as misguided as the old archons of the Roman Church, who invented a whole cosmology out of thin air. When the government intervenes and declares a pandemic condition or a state of emergency that is “endangering all of us,” they’re trying to remove our rights AND they’re operating on the false supposition that the medical researchers know what they’re doing. They’re assuming an epidemic is real when it isn’t. They’re assuming the medical remedies work when they don’t. Remedies were not needed to begin with. It’s a weird and wild tale, and you need to know it. A supposed epidemic allows the government to try to say, “No matter what you as a private citizen think or believe, you can’t opt out of the orders we issue, because if you do, you could be spreading disease to other people. Therefore, if we suspend the right to free assembly or travel, as a protective measure, or if we demand you take a vaccine or a drug, you have to surrender. You have to obey. This is for your own good and the good of All.” This is a spurious argument and an attack on basic rights and freedoms. The resistance of citizens is what stands between the government and laws mandating treatment for all. The feds know this, and they are reluctant to push things too far. They want compliance, not rebellion. But at the same time, government is always looking for ways to move closer and closer to mandatory treatment. They and their medical allies are testing the waters, checking polls, and dreaming up ways to make human illness sound more threatening. In the case of so-called Swine Flu, the government is dealing with, at most, a mild illness. Their fear-mongering propaganda is, so far, falling short of the desired result. You have an inherent right to refuse medical treatment, and you should exercise that right as you see fit. JON RAPPOPORT |
